Biomass boilers

Biomass is the oldest source of energy. Main fuels for biomass boilers are wood, the pellet, the olive stone, corn, seeds, fruit shells, and all residues of agricultural crops which do not contain high percentages of moisture.

Biomass boilers are multiple boilers, so they can burn all types of available biomass such as wood, briquettes, coal, pellets or other types of biomass and oil. Biomass boilers are specially designed to not allow the return of the flame to the silo using two axes biomass burner and a rotating safety valve.

Biomass boilers also form a complete assembly with cylindrical gas tube exchanger and four exhaust paths and two axes biomass burner and there is optional equipment such us automatic ignition, the automatic cleaning mechanism of burner and automatic export ash mechanism for greater flexibility and independence of the user.

 

BIODROP (BD) and BIOPLEX (HL) are the 2 type of biomass boilers.

 

BIODROP (BD) is accompanied by an independent silo which can be placed at the side of the boiler or behind the boiler, depending on the needs of boiler-room. Feeding screw connects the silo and the biomass burner and provide pellet for burning combining positively forfeiture of fuel and the promotion to the burning chamber. The flexible plastic hose provides additional protection against back-flame to the silo, while the reduced dimensions and the reduced width make it suitable for narrow boiler rooms.

 

BIOPLEX (HL) is a complete system with boiler, biomass burner and silo, which is arranged on the biomass burner. The mechanism of two axis with a rotating safety valve provide security to the apparent back flame  to the silo.

 

BD and HL biomass boilers include biomass burner with motor and fan, large capacity silo for long independance, cast iron diaphragms that they offer an additional exhaust pass, cast iron wood grate, ash container and cleaning tools.

 

Additional to that, for greater independence of the user there is optional equipment. As optional equipment refers the automatic ignition system, the automatic ash extraction system with ash pot.  These may be fitted either singly or in combination or together depending on user's needs.

 

All boiler functions are regulated by a control panel (sold separately). PWC-2500 electronic control panel combined with both biomass boilers and regulate all the parameters.
